Join us in a new TRICK OR TREAT tradition this HALLOWEEN.

Families and residents will be invited to build scarecrows and decorate their houses this Halloween night for a night that will be a little different that other years.

Jolly Good Communities have had funding from the Big Lottery to offer a unique evening thought up by our volunteers.

On the morning of Monday the 28th of October we will be building scarecrows at Brierley Church Hall, giving people a few days to set up their scarecrows and trim up for Halloween.

*Please apply here to enter your scarecrows so we can add your house on our village map. Prize for the best scarecrow will be judged on the night of the 31st.

On the evening of the 31st of October you can collect a Map at the Church Hall and follow the route around the village admiring the spookiness of the house displays. On the front lawn of the church hall you can display a carved pumpkin in our pumkin patch that will be judged for the chance to win a prize. Along the Halloween scarecrow route there will be activities and eerie happenings including meet the owls, creepy crawlies and even zombie slime making.

We will have volunteers along the route giving out sweets so please bring your trick or treat bags with you. Let’s bring back Trick or Treating for the kids in Brierley!

To raise fund, in the church hall we will be selling pie and peas, halloween pick n mix, poprcorn, candyfloss and play our carnival games to win prizes.
